Welcome to Capital Area Speech Language and Educational Services. Capital Area Speech is a locally owned and operated company and has provided services to children and adults in the Austin area since 1988. Capital Area Speech specializes in diagnosing and treating pediatric speech and language disorders, adult voice and fluency disorders, and sensorimotor developmental disorders and delays. |

Capital Area Speech provides speech therapy, occupational therapy and academic tutorials. Capital Area Speech is an affiliate of Therapy One, a locally owned umbrella organization. Speech pathologists at Capital Area Speech are licensed by the State of Texas and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Occupational therapists are licensed by the State of Texas and registered by the National Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners. Teachers providing academic tutorials have received their master's in education as well as extensive training in several areas.
